Daily Log: 2026-06-24

A technical-infrastructure day with heavy focus on character-creator polish and autonomous monitoring. Two user-directed threads (aeriea character creator, github-io workflow scaffolding) plus the baseline autonomous layer. The day's register is visual-editor refinement and automation foundation-setting — long single-session dialogues on both maker projects with careful attention to UI/UX correctness and tool reliability.

Sessions and Activity

aeriea (embodied sandbox — visual channel)

The character-creator editor thread continued deep into a comprehensive UI/UX critique and rebuild. The user drove end-to-end verification of a redesigned character creator interface:

  • Ran full-coverage playtest of the redesigned creator, exercising the entire interaction flow: character load, body editing, expression/outfit controls, and export.
  • Critiqued visual overlaps and layout problems (3D viewport rendering overlap with UI panels), forcing precise diagnosis of viewport-vs-canvas geometry.
  • Demanded exhaustive coverage analysis: "show me every distinct UI state and interaction path"; agents verified 12+ distinct creator states with screenshot evidence.
  • Drove correctness on body-mesh details: confirmed minimum vertex spacing (~328 microns) against quantization quantum, validated facial proxy deltas against body macro set, ensured normals/tangents computed correctly on base topology.
  • Forced rigorous error messaging: rejected low-quality error copy as "not production-ready" and demanded clarity on all edge cases.
  • Approved the redesigned creator as meeting the bar for the "showing" channel quality.

Committed: comprehensive character-creator redesign with full UI/UX rebuild, verified playtest coverage, and geometry/rendering correctness signed off.

Observations: aeriea's visual editor moved from design into polished, production-ready implementation. The session shows the characteristic pattern of the day — single heavy session with tight Agent coordination to drive exhaustive verification. The "showing not telling" visual channel is now at fidelity parity with the backend rigor.

github-io (ecosystem scaffolding & workflow)

A lighter session focused on workflow foundation and read-only inventory. The day's work on the orchestration layer:

  • Scaffolded xianxia book corpus extraction infrastructure for the TTRPG mechanics-grounding work from the prior day: confirmed /mnt/ssd/books/xianxia/ holds 22 EPUBs (~280 MB extracted text), set up read-only salvage protocols.
  • Reviewed and refined the Claude Code orchestrator hooks and workflow modules: verified module inventory, checked git state, ensured propagation-ready structure.
  • Drove workflow reliability: "test the actual workflows that agents will use" — confirmed execution correctness on multiple orchestrator patterns, flagged module edge cases.
  • Cleaned up configuration and scaffolding artifacts (gitignored __pycache__ dirs, verified correct harness structure).

Committed: corpus inventory documentation, workflow module verification, and scaffolding cleanup.

Observations: github-io is in quiet infrastructure-maintenance mode — no design questions, just foundation-setting for the ecosystem to run on. The corpus extraction setup enables the prior day's TTRPG work to scale up.

fuwafuwa (autonomous)

261 sessions on 2026-06-24, the standard autonomous Discord monitoring loop (session start → check channels/DMs → respond if warranted → sleep → repeat → end). Ambient chatter monitoring; no user-directed messages, no tool-call instrumentation for these sessions. Baseline autonomous routine at post-spike plateau.

Token Usage

ProjectSessionsOutput TokensCache ReadInput TokensTurns
aeriea1~1,319,000~158,873,699~104,446177
github-io (workflows)1~297,945~24,499,673~16,94759
fuwafuwa (autonomous)261———522

Cache hit ratios on user-directed sessions remain extremely high — aeriea ~120:1, github-io ~130:1 — reflecting long single-session work against heavily-loaded project context. No multi-turn exploration cost; the sessions are sustained dialogues with deep cached context reuse.

Observations

  1. The day's register is verification-tight. Both user-directed sessions show the characteristic pressure toward exhaustive coverage: "show me every state," "verify the geometry," "test the actual workflows." Not invention; implementation correctness under constraint.

  2. aeriea crossed a quality gate. The character creator is now production-ready on both backend (geometry/rendering) and frontend (UI/UX). The "showing" visual channel has reached parity with the text-generation quality bar. This is the Opus-quality / no-runtime-LLM tension carrying forward into implementation, not just design.

  3. github-io is infrastructure-quiet. No design questions, no new decisions — just foundation-setting (corpus inventory, workflow verification, harness correctness) to unblock downstream work. The xianxia extraction corpus is ready for the TTRPG mechanics pipeline.

  4. fuwafuwa holds baseline autonomy. 261 lightweight sessions is the established autonomous plateau — no spike, no drop, just steady Discord monitoring.

  5. Cache efficiency is structural. Both user-directed sessions show 120:1+ cache hit ratios because they're single long dialogues against stable project context — no exploration-cost tax, just sustained high-reuse work.

Projects Touched

  • aeriea — character-creator UI/UX redesign completed and verified; playtest coverage exhaustive; visual editor at production quality.
  • github-io — xianxia corpus inventory documented; orchestrator hooks verified; scaffolding cleaned; workflow foundation ready.
  • fuwafuwa — autonomous Discord monitoring (261 sessions, baseline routine).

Next Steps (inferred from session endpoints)

  1. aeriea: deploy the verified character creator; continue building out supporting UI surfaces (dressing room, appearance presets, export/import pipelines).
  2. github-io: xianxia extraction pipeline ready for the TTRPG mechanics grounding; continue autonomous routine.
  3. fuwafuwa: continue autonomous monitoring.
